The Userfield nightmare

Currently, the Zoho Creator User field is almost useless, here's why:

  1. The userfield display a auto generated username instead of the Staff/Volunteer/Client/Supplier actual real name. Making, in its core, unusable in any professional/serious situation. All of ZC's alternative use email as Unique ID and display the user's username correctly. Even ZC has a user dashboard, where the user can set a Name and Username. Which have both, it seems, totally been forgotten by the ZC programmers when they decided to create the Userfield.

  2. Having to select either Users or Customers is a total non-sens. Userfield is used to assign Tasks to a person. That person can sometime be a regular internal employee and something a external temporary volunteer. If you allow selecting Customer Portal Users in the Userfield, making it either one or the other simply DOESN'T MAKE SENSE in any entreprise hierarchy.

  3. Non multi user selection... is the worst. If I have a event setup, maybe I need 30 people to be assigned to this task. All of which will need to receive a SMS notification before the start of the event. HOW AM I SUPPOSE TO DO THAT when I can only have one user per userfield?! Create 30 userfield field?!
Zoho Creator is great, it really is, but as of today, the userfield is a big useless feature and could very much not even exist.

Does the Zoho team has any development plans for these issues?! These should be advertised better, so people buying your product know beforehand.
