Thunderbird timing out while connecting to SMTP

This is been working for weeks and now all of a sudden Thunderbird returns the following when trying to send mail

The message could not be sent because the connection to Outgoing server (SMTP) smtp.zoho.com timed out

I have checked all my settings they are set correct, and I have confirmed this with your documentation. I have looked at other posts with this same issue and it seems there has been no resolution on this issue that is exhibited in thunderbird. I can use any other mail application without issue.
I would provide a screenshot but it just has the provided error message above.
As a note the IMAP side of things works just fine.
