Time-based workflow for sending alert thru email

Hi,

I started configuring our CRM account last September 14, 2015 and on that day we test the time-based action for workflow.
Email from time-based action is received. Well done.


We removed the workflow by the following days but the problem is it still sending emails continuously to the client even today. Based on the alert before removing a workflow, it says that "all the scheduled email will be deleted". Whats wrong with it?


How can we stop this continuous email on our side?
Is there any module to stop this?

This is a big problem for the client.
