Timeout for Zoho Mail Clients for Googlemail?

I am using Zoho Mail for years, and I am also using this clear and straghtforward interface as a client for Googlemail. So everything is in one place, and work becomes almost fun.
Since some days ago fun's over, because I cannot send mails any more on the client for Googlemail. When I try it, I get a message like ... see the link:

I already tried to follow the given link and generated an "application-specific password". Then I pasted it in the Zoho mail  settings, in the Googlemail-account, but nothing happened.
I am still getting the same error message, and so I need use the Googlemail Client instead of Zoho.

Is this the end of Googlemail via Zoho, or is there any solution for this problem out on the net?
