Timesheet/Projects/Tasks

I need to track simple projects, tasks, and invoice them. Zoho Books provides everything I need for this except being able to assign tasks to staff with due dates. I know Zoho Projects handles this requirement, but it is more complicated than we actually wanted or needed. Is there any chance we will see task assignments and due dates in Zoho Books Timesheets any time in the near future?
