Hi Guys, new Zoho One customer here with only a few employees.
I run a small software company and currently our small number of employees are creating manual timesheets in excel.
There is a column for a job number (that relates to a Zoho Deal) and they just put in the time taken to perform the work.
As an example, they might spend 1 hour running some barcodes for a particular client (and deal).
Then they may do a support all for another client and that takes 2 hours (This client would have a yearly maintenance contract, that is also a Deal).
So, very easy to do in Excel.
Is there a way to do this in CRM? I think the only way is to create a project for each Deal that we have, and then a Task, then log the time against the task.
It seems overkill, when we might have 10-20 deal a week for small jobs (running barcodes), so seems a bit pointless having to create a new project for each Deal, then a new Task, to then record 20 minutes or one hour before the Task and Project is closed.
Any thoughts out there if timesheets can be run against Deals alone?
