Tip #17: How to set up filters based on content of email



Just like creating email filters/ rules, based on the subject or sender of the email, you can now create filters based on the content of the email. This can be useful when you receive templated emails like, messages from your website contact us forms or automated notifications and so on.
Steps to create content based filters: 
  1. Log in to https://www.zoho.com/mail
  2. Click Settings >> Filters 
  3. Click 'Create new filter'
  4. Provide a name for the filter
  5. Select the required condition type
  6. In the Criteria section, select 'Content' and type in the text to be matched in the respective text box.

  7. Add more criteria, if needed. 
  8. In the Actions, select the preferred Action type. 
  9. Click Save to save the filter. 
  10. Change the order of the filter, if needed. 
The emails will be filtered based on the content of the email, and the selected action in the filter will be performed for the matching emails.
