Tip #5 - Share Your Snapshots On The Go With Screen Grabber

Sharing becomes easier than ever! Right when you think of sharing a file, document or an image, you generally take a screenshot, save the file in your drive and find buttons like 'Upload' or 'Attach' to share it with your team mates. Doesn't it look like one heck of a time? Well, let me take you through a quick tour on how sharing a snapshot becomes fun with Zoho Projects.

Have you ever noticed a small TV screen icon at the bottom right corner of your status bar? That's where the magic of sharing hides! Those, who have missed out this feature, take a look at it right below.

It's easy to share a tip


Michael, who owns a marketing firm reads an interesting strategy, which he finds it effective to share with his team mates.  How can he use the screen grabber tool?

Step 1:Take a screenshot or a copy of the page.

Step 2: Click the Screen Grabber tool in the Status tab.

Step 3: Click to Upload, Drag and Drop or press CTRL+V to paste the screenshot.

Step 4: Use the Draw tool to highlight the key points in the image.



Step 5: Click Submit to share the screenshot.

Note:

Users can also download the screenshots and save it for future reference.

Use screen grabber in all the project modules

You can use the screen grabber tool in all the project modules, like:

  • If you find a bug, take instant screen shot and share it in the Submit Bug section
  • If you want to add a task with an image, take a screenshot and post it in the Add Task section
  • While posting a  forummilestone or an event, you can use the screen grabber tool to add an image
  • While commenting on a  task, bug, milestone, forum or an event, you can take screenshots and add images using the screen grabber tool
  • Chat with your team mates and share screenshots using the screen grabber
