For an email campaign, you may think you have all the essential elements for lead conversion—a big mailing list, an attractive template design, and the most-engaging message content, but after hitting the ‘send’ button, you may not get the expected conversions. Here’s one of the major reasons. Many marketers miss out on sending the email campaign the right way. Did you know that you should not be sending an email campaign at one go, to many thousands of recipients? Well, if you send such an email, you're likely to lose a few subscribers as your message isn't targeted. You'll end up straining your message server, thereby affecting your email's deliverability. We have "Send in Batches" option in Zoho Campaigns which will be listed when you try to send your campaigns. This option has to be selected manually when you try to send your campaigns.

Please allow for shorter batch timing.  15 min, 30 min should be added please.

Can you send a workflow email in batches?

As of now we don't have an option to send workflow emails in batches. However you can use Random Split option in our workflow to split your contacts in needed percentage and send triggers actions in different time intervals using wait time component.

In below screenshot you can see Random Split component used to split total contacts in to 30% and 70%. For 30% we triggered emails immediately and remaining 70% is moved to wait component. From wait time component we further split contacts in to two (50% each) and sent email for first 50% of contacts immediately. Remaining 50% of contacts went through wait time component and then emails are sent.

Here's an idea: How about creating a "batch" mode that doesn't take weeks to send to your list?!?  Seriously, Zoho batching only sends 10 emails per hour.  Are you guys serious?!?  This is awful!!

Sorry for the inconvenience caused. 

In Zoho Campaigns we don't have hourly email limit so you can send emails based on your requirement

When you configure "Send in batches" option you will be requested to select the number of batches and time interval between each batch based on which we will split total recipients count in to different batches. Kindly refer below help link for more details.

Hi

Just check we are sending a campaign out and I've created the list with 3k contacts - i've not used the batch function however when we send the campaign using the list it's only sending to 28 people not the whole list ? why is this ? I'm confused at it states 3k people then the stats come back with 28 emails sent ?

We understand your concern. Recipients added in your campaign might have got ignored due to following reasons.

1. Topic not assigned (Contacts will get ignored when topic configured in your campaign is not assigned to the contacts which are added as recipients in the campaign)

2. Non marketing contacts (Contacts will get ignored when subscription type is selected as non-marketing for contacts which are added as recipients in the campaign)

In order to find the exact reason for contact ignorance kindly clone the particular campaign and click on the "Click here" option in Recipients by referring below screenshot.




Assign Topics

Kindly refer this help link for steps to assign topics to your contacts.

Change Subscription Type

Kindly refer this help link for steps to change the subscription type of your contacts.

Exclude Contacts

Also when sending the cloned campaign to unsent contacts you can exclude the contacts which already received the particular campaign by referring below screenshots.

When will batching be updated for better interval options? MailChimp offers the ability to batch much more frequently (Example: Send 10 batches, 3 minutes apart).

Please advise.
