Zoho Calendar provides you the options to set your default event settings. This default settings will save you time by not requiring you to enter the event time, participant permissions, and so on each time you create an event.
The following default event settings are available in Zoho Calendar:
- Default event duration
- Default participant permissions
- Automatic addition of meeting invites from email
- Automatic addition group invites to personal calendars
- Display denied/ cancelled events in calendar grid
Default Event Duration
You can set the Default Event Duration, which will be reflected in the event creation form for all of your calendars. When you create an event, the time duration will be set by default. If you want to change the duration of the event, click the time field and select the desired time.

Participant permissions allow the event host to limit a participant's ability to view, edit, delete, or add participants to the event. In your calendar settings, you can set a default option, which will be reflected when you create an event on any calendar. When you want to change the participant permission, you can change your preference in the create event form.

You can choose to allow or deny the automatic addition of meeting invites from your email.
Likewise, you can choose to allow or deny the automatic addition of group invitations to your personal calendar.
You can also choose to display or hide the Denied Events in your calendar grid.
