"Todays Tasks" not showing anything

In Activities -> Views, when I choose Todays Tasks I can't seem to be able to see any task. I would like to use this module in my homepage in order to see my to do's for the day but it doesn't show anything.

This happened after I tried to create a new view in which I was trying to set the Status as "not started" but then I saw that this is not possible.

After some trials, when I got back to "Todays Tasks" it showed zero records.

Any ideas how to fix it?
