Tracking amount of Leads in previous periods

Tracking amount of Leads in previous periods

I have the Zoho CRM Pro plan. 

We need to be able to compare (in a report or analytics) the amount of leads added this month against amount of leads added the same month in the previous year. Or this month vs last month etc. This includes dead leads or conversions etc.

I know I can keep uninterested leads in the system, but how about leads converted to contacts? Are the leads added figures recorded somewhere in Zoho?
