Tracking and documenting business deals/potentials between two companies

I work for an organization that has beneficiaries (companies in developing countries which we come alongside) and help them find business and do business with western companies. 
 
My question is, is there a way using Zoho CRM that we can record activity between paired companies and track their business deals (as 'potentials' for example)?. I know that a CRM is usually used as a means of tracking and documenting activity between the user of the CRM and outside individual customers/companies. Is it possible to track interactions and business deal progressions between two 'external customers' that are in the CRM?
