Tracking sales calls in dashboard

Tracking sales calls in dashboard

It's important for me to track how many sales calls we make daily and weekly. I've played around with the dashboards and I can't figure out a way to do this.  I can run a custom report but can't figure out a graphical representation on my dashboard. Please advise.
