Zia Vision’s ICR capability can now recognize, extract, and store tabulated values in your subforms.

An ideal example is a university application form. It has printed fields and handwritten values; as lists or as tables.

If filling the dense form is a chore, then a staff digitizing all the submissions is onerous altogether.

With the latest ICR, you have an aide. You can extract desired values as form fields or tabulated cells from your import file and create a record right away.

Let’s look at a few more examples to understand its use better:

Like fields of a form,  subform and their fields should also be selected to start extracting fields. You can choose up to three subforms  and 20 fields overall per rule and for each fields you choose, you can add advanced extraction prompts, so that Zia can extract the way you want.

That’s how ICR can extract tabulated data. Very soon, you’d have the ability to extract fields of different data types, which will open ways to use invoices to create quotes, use receipts to update inventory and so on.
