We use the Outlook plugin to attach emails to contacts directly from Outlook, which works great because there is barely any change to the workflow, just two extra clicks. The problem is that once those emails are in Zoho they can be kind of hard to find. A typical situation for us is to know that we have an email from a contact at a company, but not remember who actually sent it months later. And we can have anywhere from 20-100 contacts at some of our accounts, so going through them 1 by 1 to try and find that email is a very tedious process.
There are two changes that could be made that would greatly improve this functionality, both of which already exist in the Notes module.
1) From the Account tab, have a checkbox to show all emails associated with any contact under that account. This helps both for finding a specific email that you're looking for, but also so that people looking at the account can quickly get an overview of all the activity for the entire account.
2) Make emails searchable
I've made these requests before (in fact I just see that the searchable email request was just bumped earlier today) but I wanted to try again to see if I can get a response from Zoho.
