Trend Reports

I am trying to create a summary trend report that will groups sales by Month, Quarter, and/or Year. Is this functionality currently in Zoho, or will it be available in an upcoming release?

I have tried to create a matrix report, but it doesn't even allow for a closing date to be the column header.
