Trying to create a "live" link to keep data synchronized in real time

Our company has a proprietary database that we want to integrate with Zoho CRM. Currently we are manually updating the data via the API.

Is there any way to make this synchronization "Dynamic"? In other words, is there a way to automatically update both the data in Zoho CRM and in our Proprietary App whenever data in either application is updated?
