Trying to create a squash court booking system

Trying to create a squash court booking system -

Are there any templates available for such a Booking System or a simple Resource Booking system.

All my app has to do is to have a form for people to enter details, dates , times opponents and then check that no one else has booked the court on that day at that particular time - later on I want to add functionality to enable membership number checking so only members can book but at the moment all I need is something that checks court availability by date.

I am not sure where to start - any ideas
