Turn off in-feed notifications for Group Events?

Turn off in-feed notifications for Group Events?

Hi there - is there a way to keep group events from showing up in the "My Feed" tab? We use the events calendar to track employee days on/off (see screencap), so do not need them clogging up the feed every single day. I only see a way to completely shut off notifications to the whole group, not just events.
