I'm trying to use the two factor authentication on Evolution in debian. I have created the password for the application and in evolution I have configured the account as a normal mail account but instead of using the main password, I have introduced the generated password for the application (without spaces).

The server is refusing the password because Evolution is asking for the password continuosly. What do I have to do? The username is the same?

I have read this article and I can't see what is the configuration needed for the clients.
