Unable to change CRM email address

We recently upgraded from a free trial account to a standard paid account. During the free trial, we had several different users assigned. Once we upgraded, all of those accounts were deleted. We were left with the first user email that we signed up with. Unfortunately, this is not the main email address for our company that we wish to use. We tried changing the primary email from pcookley@tabatafg.com to our generic email which is info@tabatafg.com but it says that the email is already in use. It was deleted when we signed up for a 1 user account and is currently not being used. I'm not sure why it won't let me use that email. I need assistance in getting our email,  info@tabatafg.com r eleased for usage as our primary email address.
