Unable to set Task Status using Zoho Project REST API

Unable to set Task Status using Zoho Project REST API

I went through all the documentation for the API and did many tests.  I am able to GET the task's current status but i would like to be able to set the status using the API on CREATION or on UPDATE but can't find any way ??

Is there a trick i missed or can you tell me if there will be a new version of the API soon because it's lacking many functionnality like being able to read the "Start after X hours" of the project templates.
