Understanding Email Forwarding
i'm wanting to create an email address for somebody using my domain, but do not want to give them any rights or access to it on zoho. so basically an alias, but... not, i guess.
looks like what i need to create is an "Email Forwarder" - but that still requires (as far as i can tell) me to create a "user account" for them.
okay, so i created an account and then i DISabled both IMAP & POP options. then i set the "Forwarder address" to their own normal email address (comcast/gmail type).
the system auto sent them a verification email to that address, BUT, there is NO verification link in that email. instead it gives a long code with instructions that they must sign in as ADMIN to verify it. WTF?! i'm so confused.
i've read the help documentation but it's not helping. hoping somebody can explain this to me & how to accomplish what we want.
