I was recently tasked with setting up daily local backups of our data held on CRM, and was surprised and disappointed to find that Zoho charge a $10 fee per backup.
Since our entire database is only 53MB when zipped this seems an unreasonable amount to pay, and we should know, we are a data backup and recovery service provider.
The Zoho guys have pointed out I could manually and individually export each database free of charge, but that is too time consuming, and seems ridiculous when the backup tool exist.
What is the consensus in the user community, should access to our data be more reasonably priced, or indeed free of charge?
