Unveiling Zoho Writer Desktop 4.0: New GUI, more document formats, offline Zia, and more
Hi Zoho Writer users,
We've released Zoho Writer Desktop 4.0. This update includes:
- New GUI: The redesigned interface from the web app is now on desktop.
- ODT, TXT, and Markdown support: Open, edit, and save documents in these formats.
- DOCX imports up to 100 MB: Open and work on large files directly in Writer's desktop app.
- Offline spell check: Zia provides spell check without an internet connection.
- Editor and document preferences: Configure ruler units, autocorrect with formatting, dark mode, and more from the desktop app's settings.
- Default save location: New documents save to your chosen folder automatically.
