API v2

Availability : All Creator accounts

We're ready with our v2 APIs, which bring the following improvements:

• OAuth-based authentication, which is more secure than authtokens
  
• Support for the PATCH, PUT, and DELETE methods
  
• Better structuring of the API request: you can add form data to the request’s body in the JSON format
  
• Better error handling resulting from a more insightful set of error codes and messages
  
• Better performance in comparison to the current version (v1)
  
• No keyword restrictions

Federated login support for customer portal

Lookup creation UI revamp

Applicable to : Creator 5

We're updating the UI you see while adding a lookup field to your form.

Enhanced offline capabilities

Applicable to : Zoho Creator iOS and Android apps

Availability : All Creator accounts whose subscription allows offline access

We're introducing the Offline Components screen, which will enable your users to manage the offline availability of the forms and reports.

• End users will have to download the forms and reports that they want to access offline. As usual, forms that require a connection to the server (to execute the Deluge script associated with its On Load and On User Input events) will not be available offline.
  
• End users can sync the offline forms and reports manually. When enabled, the auto sync will happen every 24 hours from the component's last synced time.

Support for duplicating permission sets

Applicable to : Creator 5

Yes! You'll soon be able to duplicate both user and customer permission sets!

Satellite and street views in map reports

Applicable to: Creator 5

With this update, your application's end users will be able to:

• Switch to street view while picking an address, and
  
• Switch to the street and satellite views while accessing map reports
