Update Regarding Zoho Finance Applications' Domains For API Users

Hi users,

Until now, both the Zoho Finance apps and their APIs shared a common domain. We've recently introduced separate domains for APIs. You can now start using the new domains for API calls. The old domains will not work for API users starting April 1, 2024. 

Update: We've extended the deadline to June 1, 2024. 

To make it easier for you to update the old domain in the custom functions, we've developed a tool that can help you identify the app-specific domains and replace them with the zohoapis domain. You can access the tool in your app by navigating to Settings > Automation > Workflow Actions > Custom Functions and clicking Update Domain. We've added a video to help you identify the tool.

Note: The tool will be available only if you've used the old domain.



Update: We've added a Domain Type filter on the API Usage page of the Zoho Finance apps (Zoho Books, Zoho Billing, Zoho Invoice, Zoho Inventory, and Zoho Expense) to help you identify the apps in which you've used the old domain. To use the filter, go to Settings > Developer Space > API Usage and select Old Domain from the Domain Type filter. Ensure that you update the old domain for the apps listed on this page. We've added a video to help identify the filter.



The following Zoho Finance applications will be using the new API domain:
  • Zoho Books
  • Zoho Billing
  • Zoho Expense
  • Zoho Inventory
  • Zoho Invoice

For each of these apps, the domain changes are as follows:
