Updated Module Fields in Zoho - Deletes Previously Entered Data

Hi there,

My company was going through changing the field names in various Zoho Modules we created to better fit our needs.  Information had already been entered into these fields, and we didn't think changing the field titles would delete the data stored within the fields.  Unfortunately though, we have direct evidence that changing field names in Zoho Modules DELETES the data that was previously entered.  So the question is, once a module and fields are set up, there's no changing them, for fear the old data will be deleted?

Please help if possible.  The information wasn't backed up before we started making changes, and we lost so much data and are having to re-input.  Zoho did not place this information in the Recycle Bin either.  I don't think this is a logical way of creating modules; of course folks are going to want to update field names at some point!
