We are about to import 20,000 records into ZOHO CRM.
Within the first three months we are hiring a telemarketing company to call all 20,000 records (from an Excel spreadsheet) to verify all the contact records.
I am assuming that thousands of records (companies) will have new contacts.
How can we update the records with the new contacts without creating (or leaving) dead records in ZOHO CRM?
In other words as we update the company records I am assuming that when we do the import the records will not match so ZOHO CRM will create a completely new records. How can we avoid that?
Is there a way to first import the dead records (after the telemarketing campaign) and then delete those out of ZOHO CRM, and then to do a second import with the new records and contacts?
If we update from the ZOHO CRM export -- and we keep the LeadID in each record -- will this eliminate the problem?
