After working on a number of record updates the last two days I find that it would be very convenient to have the default Calendar for each filed open to the current date. I find that if I click on a data field that has an existing date the Calendar opens to that date as well. It is very annoying to have to pick a new date by scrolling through calendar from that date.
Another feature that would save a lot of time for me is the ability to associate events with multiple potentials and multiple contacts form a single event record.
The reason this is beneficial is that in our industry we may have multiple potentials with a single contact and a single potential may have multiple contacts. When I make a phone call I will not talk about only one potential. We will discuss all of them. The same thing happens with meetings. If I schedule a meeting we will discuss all the active potentials. When I am creating those events or logging calls it would be very helpful to open one screen and update all the related records simultaneously. Similarly, when I go to a meeting or have a conference call or web-conference (Zoho Meeting) there may be more than one contact involved. I would like to associate the activity with all of the contacts simultaneously as well.
Both of these features would dramatically cut down on the amount of mouse clicks needed to accurately record the information to the proper records.
