Is there any way I can create reports/dashboards using the history of a record?

What I mean by this is:

- I want to create a report that would show how many deals went from "offer" to "closed lost" VS how may deals went from "offer" to "closed won"

- Right now, I could not find how to do this, because when a deal transitioned to "closed lost" I cannot export from what stage it went to "closed lost"
