User reporting

I looked through the documentation and cant find anything on this. I would like to be able to see a report each day and week on User activity. In other words, I want to see what things people entered into the system each day, so I can be sure they are doing what they are supposed to. I would like to see it by user and then all activity and then by type of activity (emails, tasks, etc.). As I report to my CEO on what we are doing from a sales perspective, I want to easily understand what is being done and how.

Am I just missing it?
