- Seems ZoHo CRM is created for SELLING products or services
- Our company gets leads, turns them into potential to BUY products from VENDORS.
- Because we BUY products from our leads/potentials, we do NOT have functionality to link and connect the PURCHASE ORDER and VENDOR modules to the POTENTIAL.
*Note - We need functionality of products module or customized solution outside of this module for products in which we are using CRM to buy products from potential "accounts" (Vendors).
My proposed suggestion:
- Create deluge script on a macro or other manual action that does the following:
- Creates VENDOR account info using ACCOUNT information from POTENTIAL
- Links this newly created VENDOR account to the CONTACT record of the POTENTIAL
I'm positive through deluge script and some sort of programming we can make this requirement a reality.
We need your help to understand our deliverable, review my proposed suggestion and provide feedback to know if this would be the most effective way of handling this situation, or if you would recommend doing so through other means.
- An alternative would be to create a QUOTE from the POTENTIAL so we could use the PRODUCTS module, but even so, we would still need to transpose the data over to VENDORS so we could continue our sales process using the PO/Vendor module.
