Using Macros for internal tasks
Is it possible to use macros for company-internal communications? The use case is: When a client makes a purchase for the first time, we need to set them up on our internal accounting system, and I would like to create a macro that sends the information we have in the CRM to a person in our accounting department who is not a CRM user. I have set up an e-mail merge template, but it seems that the only option with macros is to send an e-mail to the contact on the record I'm using to run the macro. Is there a way to achieve what I want to do that I'm not considering?
