Hi, sorry to bother you.
I have been using ZENBE for quite a while to read my various email accounts while I'm away from my home PC.
On my home PC I have Outlook Express which read and backs up all my various email accounts - leaving a copy on the servers. This enabled me to receive / send emails from home (OE), my laptop (Zenbe), from any other PC (Zenbe).
As you are aware this free service has now ended and I have been looking for a suitable alternative.
I thought that your
ZOHO MAIL was it!
So I've set up a couple of my email accounts, in POP3, to try it out.
However I have encountered what I consider a serious problem and have now backed off.
I sent an email
TEST1 from T@Y to T@G using my Outlook Express as normal.
Then in Zoho Mail I clicked Fetch and the T@G message
TEST1 arrived.
However when I then do a Send/Receive in Outlook Express –
TEST1 does not download from T@G.
I then repeated steps above sending
TEST2.
But this time I then hit Send/Receive again in Outlook Express, before looking at Zoho Mail.
As I was expecting Outlook Express receives ONLY the second message
TEST2Now back to Zoho Mail and click FETCH - does not find any new messages.
OOPS!I have ended up with the following in my Inboxes:
ZENBE MAIL
OUTLOOK EXPRESS
TEST1 TEST2
What I really wanted (expected) was
TEST1 TEST1
TEST2 TEST2
This would mean that I would get some messages in OE and some messages in Zoho Mail which is just not workable.
I hope that I did something wrong and there is some setting I've missed, otherwise I will be unable to use Zoho Mail.
