Hi, we currently use Zoho CRM and are evaluating the integration between Zoho Mail (free) and Zoho CRM (professional), before we move from our existing email provider.
I have set up a test Mail and CRM account with one of our spare domains, which I refer to as: domain.com
I have set up the Mail Add On in CRM, so email is integrated between Mail and CRM, and this aspect is working as expected.
What I would like to do is add some more CRM users, for the individuals who will be using it.
However, when I try to add a user to CRM:
name1@domain.com then I get the message "This Email address is already taken. Specify a different Email address for the user."
So it appears that Mail aliases cannot exist as separate users in CRM.
My question is, is there any way to add users to CRM, without them having their own separate mailboxes? It is a small company and we do not wish to have separate mailboxes for all the individuals in the company as this leads to a situation where some emails sent and received are not visible to the whole team.
