I need to be able to use Zoho CRM's data as triggers to communicate with workflows and mailing lists in Mailchimp.
Here we go:
So what i have is this, every time a new lead is created in Zoho CRM… it will be synced and added to my “general” mailing list in mailchimp. There are multiple things that will happen from now.
- If under the lead’s marketing information, a field “online survey done” being set to “false” (They sign up with their name & email but not complete the survey form)… I want to trigger a “quote incomplete” workflow in mailchimp which will send them automated responses to complete the survey (1 email every 3 days for about 5 times).
And if they reply the email, the “quote incomplete” workflow will stop and they remain in the “general” mailing list or until they are converted.
- Once a “lead” is converted into contact/account + potential, it will be in “existing potential” custom view in Zoho. The custom view will be the trigger to move them from “general” mailing list to “potential” mailing list in Mailchimp. Or is it possible to use this trigger to group them under “potential” within the “general” mailing list?
Then, in Zoho, there’s a “closing date” field for the potential. Once it expires, this will trigger a “quotation sent” workflow which will chase this “existing potential” group until some triggers get set which will stop this workflow:
a. They replied the email
b. Their stage field in “potential” in Zoho changed to "closed-won” (which moves them into “Customer” mailing list in Mailchimp
c. Their stage field in “potential” in Zoho changed to “closed-lost” which will bring them out of the “existing potential” group into the “general” mailing list.
What are the solutions available to accomplish this? I've briefly looked into Zapier and Skyvia but definitely need more guidance.
Any suggestions of a more elegant solution to this would be awesome too.
