Validation and Layout Rules - Transfer to a new layout
Hi there,
it seems i can not apply a once set up validation rule or layout rule to a new/another layout.
This means, whenever someone requests a new layout B that need the same preexisting validation rules and layout rules like in Layout A, I need to do it all over again and re-create the validation rules. Am I missing something here?
I can later on modify the existing rules, but I cant change the initially chosen layout nor can I apply my set of rules to more than one layout.
Causing a lot of manual work in re-creating and maintaining the rules (as they are now a double or triple set of the same rules)
Looking forward to ideas on how to solve this
