Varying success presenting to Australian attendees
Hello,
Zoho Show is just the most fantastic tool ever for giving average people the ability to present a visual presentation over the net without the attendee seeing the script. We love it and so does our team!
The challenge we face is that here in Australia many people have varying ISP connections. We would never try to present to someone on dial-up as that appears to be totally impossible but we have an ongoing issue where 1 in 5 presentations have to be abandoned as the attendee cannot view the slides. Sometimes they see the first slide an no more, sometimes the slides take 10-20 secs to update so our 45 min presentation would have to blow out to 2 hours. We have a team using this presentation and although it works they are getting dissillusioned when they have to cancel high quality prospect presentations.
The generic welcome presentation appears so fast but ours is photographic and each slide is about 55-60kb. Is there a way we can keep the photographic slides and make the presentation faster? Do I need to drop res on the images? Some people on 128kb broadband are unable to attend or present, what is the minimum speed req? I have been looking for answers for a few months and need to solve the issue. Even if we have a set or parameters.(ie. spedd, resolution etc.)
Thanks Andrew
