Video conferencing with multiple feeds
Last week, we released our new video conferencing feature with multiple video feeds. Several organizations tried it out and we are more than happy to report users across the world have endorsed this feature. We are currently assisting institutions and even government agencies to meet remote collaboration needs using Zoho Meeting. Here are a few of the tweets that we've seen from important leaders recommending Zoho Meeting on twitter:
Dr. Abhay Jere
Chief Innovation Officer, Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India
Debjani Ghosh
President, NASSCOM
Zoho Meeting in education and telehealth
Many educational institutions, including major colleges in Chennai, are adopting Zoho Meeting for online classes. Healthcare workers and doctors are also using Zoho Meeting for telehealth services.
Integration with Zoho Bookings for online appointment scheduling
Zoho Bookings has made their Zoho Meeting integration free for all users until July 1, 2020. So now you can get your appointments booked to meet clients and customers online. Learn more.
Before I end this post, here are some of the improvements we made to Zoho Meeting last month:
Features
- Video conferencing with multiple video feeds.
- We introduced a Conserve bandwidth option that helps you optimally manage and use internet bandwidth when your connection is poor.
- You can now view notification banners on your desktop when new attendees join a session, or when a question is raised in a webinar.
Enhancements
We have increased the number of servers to support the load as more organizations start using Zoho Meeting.
Mobile app updates
- We have fixed the issue with the "Mute all" feature in online meetings.
- Video quality has been improved by better handling of bitrate and separation of audio and video tracks.
- Audio has been improved through better handling of bandwidth. Other bug fixes and minor crash fixes.
Bug fixes
- The issue preventing webinar hosts and attendees from viewing results of polls has been fixed.
- An update in the Mozilla Firefox browser caused some incompatibility issues during screen sharing through online meetings. This has been resolved.
We feel extremely honored to help organizations function through online meetings and webinars during this crisis. Our team at Zoho is working around the clock, and we look forward to assisting you with your online collaboration needs. Please share your valuable feedback by tweeting to us @zohomeeting.
Stay safe and healthy.
