view emails from colleagues

Hi, i have setup imap email setting on both my and my colleagues account.
Both setups are set to "public viewing"

Now on the contact's slide we can both see all the emails exchanged.
BUT:
I am using the 2016 brand new version of Zoho CRM and my colleague is still using the old version .. he can click on all emails and view/read them. On the other hand I can see all the email exchanged but if I click on of of my colleagues emails it loads for a second and then nothing shows up... is this a bug in the new version or am I missing something?
