ViewID and Zoho Desk API

ViewID and Zoho Desk API

I'm looking at the documentation for Listing contacts and it looks like you can filter by ViewID. I assume this is views created in a department or all departments. Is this correct? And if so, how do I find the ViewID for that view?

EDIT: I see the view ID when  hovering over the view though it doesn't seem to be behaving correctly.
