VO feature hilights say IMAP support -good sign?

I'm encouraged to see this on the VO page:

Provision for configuring Multiple Email accounts
Support for both POP and IMAP

Spell Check and Formatting options for Mail Compose
Mail Preview
Presence Emoticon from Mails
Multiple Langugage support

Hopefully this means I just need to figure out how to turn off where it says pop and add in imap (right now does not offer option to change).

Sorry for two posts on same subject.... just hoping to catch someone's eye who might have an answer so I can start using this cool program.
