Voting Procedure for Cycle #1
Here, I would like to make suggestions and get input from the community about the process of Voting for the very first Cycle of the Community Driven Feature.
While we can refine this process in subsequent cycles ... after learning from the experience with the first cycle ... I suggest the following simple process ...
a) The voting be conducted openly and transparently.
b) We deploy this forum for the community to vote their preferences ... I will start a new topic for this purpose ... community members can identify their choice simply with a response post.
c) I suggest that each member specify 3 choices in order of preference.
Only choice number one will be used to determine which feature is presented to the ZOHO Creator Team.
The purpose of specifying secondary choices is ...
- in case (for some unknown reason) ZOHO Creator is unable to service the first choice ... the second (and if necessary) third choices would become automatic candidates for Cycle #1
- to give those members that made suggestions a good idea of the popularity of their suggestions ... and determine if these should be resubmited for consideration in Cycle #2
- to give the ZOHO Creator Team an idea of popular features that did not make it to the top spot ... perhaps be worthy of being included/prioritized in their immediate/radmap plans.
