Was there a problem with Saving fields/records on Friday 18/5/12

One of our users has reported that they added photos to a load of Contacts on Friday, and they are now not appearing in CRM. User also reported that URLs were added to one of our Custom Fields, and these haven't saved either.
 
Was there a problem with records saving on Friday 18/5/12?
