Web form leads going into a black hole!
Hi,
I've created a web form which was working initially.
Stupid me decided to get fancy and attempt to have the system send a new Lead email to our sales person (myself for testing at present) and it now doesn't even receive leads.
Our site is hosted with Wix whilst we get a permanent website created.
Tested out initially without any problem and I'm not sure what's wrong.
Any ideas of things to look for?
I really need to get this fixed as our website is live and is our main channel for enquiries.
I deleted our old form system which just send lead-to-email only, hence the reason it was good to finally get a system that integrates well with a web-to-lead form that does this in an automated manner.
The scenario is this:
1. I've created a Web Form under the Leads module area, copied and pasted the code into Wix and it displays correctly on the website.
2. When you send an enquiry via the form, it goes to its response page of "Thankyou for your enquiry, etc. etc.".
3. Originally the email was getting to my email and now doesn't get anywhere. It's not going to my Junk folder either.
4. I've set up an Auto Response Rule for use as an email alert that I'll be using to alert sales people if a lead is entered (manually or via web form), essentially as soon as a new Lead is created. It is set to criteria of "First Name isn't empty", with the First Name being a mandatory field on the Web-to-Lead form.
4. If I manually add a Lead it sends me a copy of the "Expressions of Interest" information with all customer details filled out on the form correct, so I know this is working when the Lead actually reaches the CRM.
5. Although it emails when manually adding a Lead, a Web Form prospect that fills in the Web-to-Lead form never gets there.
Any assistance or guidance you guys can provide would be appreciated.
At present time is of the essence for as I said I've already replaced the form based on the fact that it was working correctly when I first installed it in the page and now its gone pear-shaped!! :(
Regards,
Christian
