Weekly Tips: Customize alerts from your Priority Users
You might receive hundreds of emails daily, but messages from your manager, clients, or team leads often require immediate attention, as they may contain urgent requests or critical updates. How would you ensure you never miss important messages from these priority contacts?
To ensure you don’t miss these important emails amid the clutter, you can set up notifications in Zoho Mail specifically for these Priority Users.
Priority Users
By adding your list of Priority Users, you can ensure whenever someone from the list sends you an email, you get an instant alert whether on your phone or desktop, allowing you to respond quickly and stay on top of urgent matters without being overwhelmed by less important emails.
Add Priority Users
- Log in to Zoho Mail.
- Go to Settings > Notification > Priority Users.
- Navigate to the Manage Priority Users section.
- Select the Priority access for specific members checkbox.
- Search and add your organization members using the search bar.
Once added, you will receive notifications for any emails originating from the users added here as priority users, regardless of the other notification configurations you have set.
Note:
- You can only add organization members as priority users.
- Notification preferences set in the priority section take precedence over all the notification configurations set within Zoho Mail.
