Welcome to the Community Driven Features section of the Zoho Creator forum.
This section has been setup for the express purpose of facilitating the newly announced "Community Feature" of Zoho Creator to enable the User Community to have a say in the new features to be delivered by us.(Zoho Creator Development Team).
The rules of engagement are simple; Users suggest, discuss the relative merits and vote for new features that would benefit the wider Zoho Creator User Community. The most popular feature is then taken for development for which we have one dedicated Resource for this purpose.
Once delivered, the cycle (of proposal, discussion and voting) will be repeated.
This community feature will by-pass our prioritization filter. This doesn't mean that we take only one feature from the community and rest are driven internally by us. We will continue to define the prioritization filter for any given release based on customers and partners feedback in forums and support.
We hope that such feedback from our Users will help us to focus on the most important collective needs of our User Community and enable us to deliver a product that reflects these needs.
It is intended that this process be community driven; to aid in this process we are happy to report that Gaev (scriptedlogic) has accepted our invitation to be the Community Representative responsible for providing the Zoho Creator Development Team with the first such feature. Towards this goal, he will be accepting the suggestions, moderating the discussions, administering the voting process. To that end, Gaev will be posting some suggestions for making this process efficient and effective.
