What is the status that I should give leads that I don't want to be displayed in the standard "Open Leads" view?

How does the criteria in "Open leads" list view look like? What Criteria is it that sets the lead to "open"

I have done some modifications to my "lead status" field options (changed the name of the statuses to swedish). So now "Open Leads" displays all my leads, I don't want my "closed" leads to show up.
